Welcome to Tanzania. Today, you shall be picked from Kilimanjaro International Airport JRO or Arusha Airport by your adorable safari guide who shall then transfer you to your Arusha Hotel. Immediately, after checking in, you shall relax and be joined by a team from Serengeti Mara Experts for a simple briefing regarding your next 7 days stay in Tanzania. You shall be briefed about what to expect, the travel plan and meal plans among others. Depending on your time of arrival, if you still have enough time, you shall do a simple Arusha city tour, visiting the famous art gallery, the Cultural Heritage Centre, the local market, and the Maasai market at no extra cost. The company shall handle the payments.
Today our safari Adventure begins! After your lovely breakfast, you shall embark on a 2 hr 30 minute drive to National Park as you traverse many local centers and towns before arriving at the park. The park is well known for its large herds of elephants of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent). Upon arrival at the park, right from the open roof of the vehicle you will sightsee the seasonal swamps, savanna and Tarangire River that has a collection of animals like giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs and elephants. Right in the heart of the jungle, you shall have your lovely picnic lunch. The picnic site has a spectacular view for sightseeing as you eat. After the picnic, proceed for further game drive for more game viewing before continuing to the campsite inside the park for dinner and overnight.
Today, you shalL Wake up early and have your lovely breakfast before proceeding for a sunrise game drive. You will then continue with game drive in Tarangire in the morning and depart for Lake Manyara. On your exploration of the park, you will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, elephants, and with possibility of seeing the tree-climbing lions lounging in the trees. Lake Manyara National Park is known for its diverse landscapes, primate-filled woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs. After your Lake Manyara exploration, you shall retire and proceed to your accommodation facility for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Today, your journey starts right after breakfast to Lake Eyasi. This day you shall have an authentic encounter with the Hadzabe and Datoga community, known for their distinct cultural practices. Upon arrival at the Lake Eyasi area, you shall start with visiting the Datoga people, famous for their craftsmanship, then followed with a visit to the Hadzabe community. The Hadzabe people are mostly known for great hunting small game like dik-diks and hare and gathering honey. Later in the evening, you’ll have the unique opportunity to join them in hunting activities, as they are skilled hunters and gatherers as you hear them talk in their clicking language. The Hadazbe encounter is one that will not be forgotten by you so soon. After the encounter, proceed to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
After your early morning breakfast, you shall embark on a swift transfer to Serengeti via the bumpy roads that offer you free massage. We call this the African massage. The transfer via Ngorongoro crater offers captivating game viewing as you ascend the crater highlands towards the vast plains of Serengeti. If the weather is clear, you shall make a stopover at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint as you take a glimpse of the breathtaking caldera before continuing the drive to Serengeti. If you have sharp eyes, or if you have binoculus, you should be able to see the Ngorongoro crater animals roaming.
You will enjoy a delightful picnic lunch along the way, allowing you to refuel and take in the surrounding scenery. Upon your arrival at Seronera Serengeti, you shall proceed for a captivating game drive in search of the parks adorable lions, elephants, leopards, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest and many more. Retire and proceed to your accommodation facility for relaxation, overnight and dinner.
Today, is a Serengeti day. You’re spending the entire day in the Serengeti National Park. You start your adventure with a sun-rise game drive till sun set in search of the incredible African big games of Serengeti. There is more you shall see in Serengeti than you expected to see. The Serengeti is also home to over 500 bird species, including ostriches, secretary birds, and black eagles. You’ll continue searching for wildlife until sunset, then return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today’s adventure begins early as you depart from the camp with a packed breakfast for a sunrise game drive, offering the best opportunity to spot animals when they are most active. A stop at a picturesque picnic site allows you to enjoy breakfast in the heart of the wilderness. Following this, you shall have a transfer game drive and proceed towards the Ndutu sector to search further sightseeing’s just before you have your lunch.
Once you’ve had lunch and loaded up your vehicle, it’s time to proceed to the Ngorongoro accommodation where you have your dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Today is your last day here but, it may be your best day ever through out this safari. Your game-drive begins early at 6 am as you board the safari vehicle. You will proceed to Ngorongoro crater’s descend starting point and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with your packed breakfast. This remarkable site is considered best place in Tanzania to sightsee black rhinos and cape buffaloes. The crater spans an area of 260 square kilometres and boasts a diameter of around 20 kilometres, so exploring its wonders will take approximately 5 hours. After this, start ascending as you return to Arusha arriving late evening at around 5pm. You driver guide may drop you at your hotel or Airport depending on your needs.
