Day 1: Dar es Salaam - Mikumi National Park
As you start your South Tanzania adventure, you shall Meet your driver guide for a simple briefing about your safari expectation, meal plans and driving plans as early as 8am in the morning and embark on a drive to Mikumi National park. You shall make several stopovers for early lunch and stretching of your legs before arriving at the park in the early evening for a short evening game drive as you explore the parks beautiful sceneries and wildlife including giraffes, buffaloes, rhino, cobs, hippos, etc. Retreat from the encounter and proceed to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Day 2: Mikumi National Park
Early Morning at 06:30am After breakfast in the Morning drive to Mikumi National Park for a full-day game drive until sunset. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in the hotel. Whilst on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffes, buffalo and elephants. If you are lucky, you may also be able to spot lions, leopards. Other animals you’re likely to see include zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, elands and antelopes. After the exciting game viewing, you have the opportunity to proceed for a Maasai village visit where you will learn about the lives of local Maasai, dress in their robes and dance their local dances before returning to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Day 3: Mikumi National Park - Dar es Salaam
In the morning after your relaxation and late breakfast, with full memories of the safari, you’ll drive back to Dar es Salaam through Mikumi National Park and arrive late in the evening.
