Upon your arrival in Tanzania, you shall be picked from either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha airport and be taken to your accommodation in Arusha. If time allows, depending on your arrival, you will be briefed by your tour guide plus an office member from Serengeti Mara Experts regarding your travel plan, expectations and later you shall have an option to do Arusha city tour, visiting the famous art gallery (Cultural Heritage), Local market and Maasai Market. After this, retire and return to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
After breakfast, your day begins at 7 am as you depart and head towards the Kilimanjaro region. You shall drive for 2 hours to Materuni Waterfalls, as you have various sightseeing including the villages of Kishumundu and Kilimanjaro. Be ready to enjoy every bit of this adventure. Upon arrival in the village, you’ll have to yourself a 45-minute walk through the lush vegetation of Materuni to reach the captivating waterfalls. Spend around 30 minutes, learning about the history and background of the falls, enjoy yourself at the falls and take as many pics as you can also, if you want more fun, carry along a swimsuit for a short refreshing dip. Afterward the encounter, you shall return to the village for another exciting adventure – the coffee tour before having your adorable lunch. Afterwards, your adventure continues to Chemka Hot Springs, where you can soak in the lukewarm waters and even enjoy a free pedicure from the “Garra Rufa” fish. Before sunset, you shall embark on a swift transfer back to arusha to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Todays, adventure is different. You shall have your lovely breakfast and embark for a 2 hour drive to the Tarangire land. Before arriving at the park, from the comfort of your safari jeep, you shall several seasonal swamps and savannah before you encounter the famous large Baobao tress and the many large herds of elephants of Tarangire. In Tarangire you shall meet the largest mammal – the elephant among many other animals including the lions, leopard, gazelles, heartbeats, impalas, zebras, kobs etc. We’ll have a picnic lunch at a picturesque spot before continuing with our lovely game viewing. Finally, you shall proceed to your accommodation in Tarangire for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Unfortunately, your lovely trip comes to an end today but, just before that, you shall have your nice breakfast at 5am or go with a packed breakfast depending on your needs and proceed to explore the famous Ngorongoro crater. Start the drive for about 2 hours to the Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro is truly breathtaking and is home to nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa, including the elusive black rhino. Covering an expansive 260 square kilometers and stretching approximately 20 kilometers in diameter, Ngorongoro presents about 5 to 6 hours of adventure as you descend to explore the crater’s wonders. If you came along with your breakfast, you shall enjoy it from here and lunch as well as you have one of your best moments in the world. After the encounters of African big 5 games; the lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, hippo, black rhino, hartebeest, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, etc, you shall embark on an ascend from the crater before proceeding with a drive back to Arusha where you are dropped off by your safari guide either in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International airport.
