4 Days (Ndutu Migration) – Ndutu and Ngorongoro Crater

Well, upon your arrival at the airport, you shall be picked by your safari guide who shall welcome you with a great smile before proceeding to you arusha accommodation for checking in and freshening up before you are given a small briefing regarding your adventure by a team from Serengeti Mara Experts. Depending on your time of arrival, you have the opportunity to tour Arusha as you go for a small Arusha cultural heritage centre, Maasai local market and Arusha city before your return to the accommodation facility for dinner, relaxation and overnight.

After your early morning breakfast in Arusha, with your cameras and mind ready, it’s time to put on your adventure armour and embark on a transfer to Ngorongoro crater as early as 7:30am in the morning. The distance is 260 Kms but the drive shall take about 6 hours. After driving for about bout 3.5 hours after leaving Arusha, you will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ngorongoro) as you see a swift change in the landscape from hilly forests to plain and green grasslands. Upon arrival at the entrance, you shall immediately proceed for the famous Ngorongoro Crater adventure which is the known world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq km with a depth of over 2000 feet offering you a full 5-hour game viewing opportunity as you descend the crater, you shall start your hunt for sightings such as the African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are

With the memories of yesterday’s experience, today, you shall wake up early and embark on a swift transfer with your packed breakfast as you drive towards the Ngorongoro Ndutu plains. You shall have many sightings enroute. Some of the animals you shall sightsee include zebras, girraffes, elephants, impalas, kobs, antelopes, buffaloes, birds and many others. Upon your arrival at the Ndutu, you have a whole half day to embark on a great game drive as you hunt the location of the Wildebeest migration. Ndutu forms a part of the route for the annual migration of about 2 million wildebeests and two thousand of zebra, gazelles, and antelopes as they traverse the famous Serengeti eco system. During this game drive you shall have the opportunity to sight see other amazing games including the giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, impalas, buffaloes, elephants and lions. Retire from the adventure and proceed to your accommodation for dinner, relaxation and overnight.

On the last day of your 4 Days Ngorongoro crater & Serengeti Ndutu Migration safari, you will have an early start as early as 6am in the morning before setting off to locate the migration point. You shall further witness the annual migration as well as sightsee further games in the famous Ndutu plains.
